A3088 traffic accident

On Tuesday morning shortly after 8am, one of our vehicles was involved in a road traffic accident on the A3088 Yeovil link road in which three people were injured and one gentleman, Mr Daniel De-Lancey, tragically lost his life.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of all of those involved at this very difficult time.

 

 

Japan Tsunami Donation Appeal

Many people have been watching the horrific events that have unfolded in Japan after the recent earthquake and tsunami. The challenges faced by the Japanese people after this disaster are huge and can only be overcome with the help of the outside world.

Chudley International work in partnership with the Piers Simon appeal who offer disaster relief across the world. PSA have launched an appeal to raise funds for the Tsunami victims.

Training commitment continued

At Chudley International we are very proud of the high standard of training that all members of our team receive. As a continuation of that effort on Friday 5th November we had a company closedown for the whole day for staff training. Dave Hookins from Bridge Removals Training undertook a course to fully update all operational staff on manual handling, lifting techniques and all areas of health and safety. The removal industry is a high risk industry for certain physical injuries and we at Chudley International are dedicated to minimise those risks in every way we can.

 

 

Peter Chudley 1932 - 2011

The Chudley family are sad to announce that on Sunday 16th January, Peter Chudley passed away. Husband to Maureen, Dad to Mark, Howard, Hugh & Eleanor, affectionately known as Grandpa to eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, Peter will be greatly missed. In his home town of Exmouth, Devon he was known as a true gentleman and dedicated family man. He was also previously part of our family team here at Chudley International working in the office with Mark & Hugh during the early days of the company. Though he is no longer with us in person his memory and his influence within our family will long live on.
