Lincoln and Newark Fairs dates for 2012

The Arthur Swallow Lincolnshire Antiques & Homes Show and The IACF Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fairs have now released their show dates for 2012. Many buyers choose to visit these fairs due to their close proximity to each other and also because they run on consecutive days.

We would like to bring to your attention that this year however the June and August fairs for both of these venues will not run consecutively.

The fair dates are as follows:

Adam Chudley completes the Bristol Half Marathon

Our removals estimator and salesman, Adam Chudley recently ran the Bristol Half Marathon to raise money for a local charity, The Rosie Crane Trust. Completing the course in 2 hours 21 minutes, Adam managed to raise over £450 for the trust.

The Rosie Crane Trust was setup by Carol Crane in memory of her daughter Rosie, to provide support for bereaved parents. With a 24 hour phoneline, drop in centres and counselling available the trust can help in many ways. Adam commented after his run 'My mission to run the Bristol Half Marathon came about after a family member decided to take part. I took part in 2000 and after my recent 30th birthday milestone thought I would see if my legs could still take the distance. We are always keen at Chudley International to try and support our local area so raising money for the Rosie Crane Trust was a natural choice. The support from sponsors has been tremendous and im so grateful'.

All the staff at Chudley International would like to congratulate Adam on his achievement.

 

 

We've been spotted

Eagle eyed Bargain Hunt fan Mitch Hobbs of Weston Super Mare spotted something very familiar to him whilst watching The BBCs, Johnny Ball vs Eddie Large Bargain Hunt special. Whilst introducing comedian Eddie on the programme Mitch spotted our Renault Pantechnicon in the background.

Chudley International crews often come across the filming of the nations favourite antique shows whilst collecting at the most popular Antique shopping destinations and fairs.

Mitch was very quick to point out he doesnt usually spend his weekends watching Bargain Hunt. We believe you Mitch.

Chudley International supports the Piers Simon appeal

The Piers Simon appeal was set up in memory of Piers who sadly died during the 2004 Boxing day tsunami. Launched as a donation appeal to generate funds for Koh Phi Phi at Piers’ memorial service the response was overwhelming and allowed the family run organisation to pursue it further. Today PSA has two major projects,... the first is disaster relief in various countries including the Haiti earthquake, the second is the school in a bag scheme. School in a bag is simple for just £10 it provides a school bag with materials to assist learning to children in third world countries. Employment vacancies

HGV Driver - Class C (Class 2)

We currently have a vacancy for an HGV class C removal driver based out of our depot in Somerset. Applicants would preferably have some removal experience, though this is preferred its not essential should you be keen to learn. Applicants would also be required to hold a valid UK class C drivers license and due to our vehicle insurance restrictions be aged 21 or over. The position would also include nights away, with accomodation and night away allowances provided.
